Most of us are familiar with the Beechcroft Close development in Sunninghill (by the roundabout of Sunninghill Rd and the A329 London Rd, now known as “Claremont”) and a previous email and website post referred to the developer seeking retrospective planning approval for 3 of the plots which were built higher than they should have been. The matter went to appeal but the Inspector was unable to make a decision for technical reasons.
The developer, Bellway Homes, recently met with members of the NP Delivery Group seeking to find a resolution to this matter and it was agreed that they would hold an information event for local residents. Bellway have developed amended plans, (submitted to RBWM for planning permission under ref 15/01533/VAR), which they feel will improve the design and appearance of these plots and would like to canvass local opinion on them in support of their application.
We believe that engaging with the local community is the right way forward and we encourage as many as possible to attend the event and provide feedback.
The event will take place on Wednesday 24th June 2015 from 3pm to 7:30pm at the Sales Centre at the Beechcroft Close development. You are welcome to drop in at any time but Bellway say it would be helpful it if you could pre-notify them of the time you expect to do so in order to ensure everyone has sufficient opportunity to view the proposals in detail and ask questions.
