Frimley Trust have made known for some time their plans for building a new hospital at Heatherwood while redeveloping the current site for housing, to help fund the building of the hospital.

The NPDG Committee has produced a summary of this application, which also sets out our views: we are overall in support of the proposals although we also have a number of areas of concern which we hope Frimley Health Trust will be able to address. click here to read this summary.

A planning application has been registered with RBWM for the redevelopment of the Heatherwood Hospital site to include a new hospital and up to 250 houses. All the documents relating to the application are available on the planning portal (http://www.rbwm.gov.uk/pam/view.jsp?ID=16/03115/OUT). The NPDG is preparing a summary of the proposals and what its considered views on them are, which we’ll post on this page as soon as possible. Meanwhile, you may be interested to read two documents:

The RBWM portal shows 2nd January 2017 as the last date for submitting responses to this application but we are expecting this to be extended.
